This fun, hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners looking to experience the magic of weaving! In this session, you will learn the fundamentals of weaving and how to use a wooden frame loom to create a beautiful woven wall hanging. You will explore the essential steps in creating your own woven pieces, from setting up the loom to finishing your project. I will guide you in unlocking your creativity, allowing your own personal style to emerge naturally.
The class includes all the materials you need to create your own dreamy weave on a medium, high-quality wooden frame loom (12" x 18"). The looms are handmade in Belgium by the talented Funem Studio using fine beechwood, and you will have access to a variety of beautiful yarns and fibers to work with. In this workshop, you get to keep your own loom and the tools needed to continue your weaving journey at home.
This class is designed to be relaxing and full of good vibes – it’s like a creative spa! You will go home feeling inspired to keep weaving and exploring all the creative possibilities a frame loom has to offer.
