Punch needle is the craft that everyone is talking about now and wants to put their hands on. The traditional rug hooking technique was recently brought back to the contemporary craft scene, generating lots of excitement.
If you’re coming back to Hili Studio, you already know the magic. If this will be your first time, get ready to let your creativity flow, and fall in love with a new craft.
It’s a stunning and kind of addictive craft. By the end of the workshop you will create your very own piece of art and will have all the skills needed to keep creating more and more.
In this fun workshop I will teach you how to secure monk’s cloth on a hoop, draw a design onto the fabric, and of course – how to use your punch needle.
You will master a new craft and become a confident maker of cushion covers, wall arts, clutches, and so much more. The possibilities of punch needling are endless! I have no doubt that you will continue creating many more beautiful pieces in the months and years to come.
What's Included
Three hours of pure fun while learning the fundamentals of punch needling. All materials for the class will be provided, including the original Oxford Needle by Amy Oxford, monk’s cloth, embroidery hoop, and beautiful yarns. And of course, when the workshop is at Hili Studio, it includes yummy nibbles (savory and sweet).
